MÄVINN wall decorations are created from something that is often discarded as waste – banana bark. Through our collaboration with the social business ROPE, known for transforming local natural materials into a variety of products, we help to create livelihood opportunities for many people in rural India. Each decoration is handwoven by skilled artisans who combine the banana fibres with black cotton threads, which creates a bold geometric design that catches the eye.
