How to pay at IKEA

Whether you’re buying a new kitchen or just an IKEA hot dog, there are plenty of payment options. Which one is the best for you depends on where you’re shopping – and what you’re buying. ​

Paying at an IKEA store

When paying in IKEA stores, you can pay with Cash, Alipay, Wechat Pay, credit and debit cards including VISA, MasterCard and Union Pay, Apple Pay, Check, IKEA gift card and IKEA refund card.

Paying at IKEA online

When paying at IKEA online ( ikea.cn, Ikea App, Ikea wechat miniprograme) you can pay with Alipay, Wechat Pay, credit and debit cards including Union Pay.

Instalment Payment Service

Am I eligible?  

Instalments payment is an IKEA Family Member privilege. Becoming a member is free of charge and allows you to benefit from instalments conveniently. ​

Applicable channels  

• Online channels: IKEA app, www.IKEA.com, IKEA Mini-Program, IKEA China Remote Customer Meeting point: 4008002345/online customer service
• Offline channels: IKEA Marketplace
• IKEA T-mall, IKEA JD temporarily unsupported 

How can I pay in instalments?   

Online payment: 

1. Before placing your order, please ensure that your IKEA Family Member account is linked. ​
2. Instalment payment is applicable, if your order amount reaches at least 100 yuan. When placing your order, select the "Pay in instalments" option, then select the instalment platform and amount, and complete payment. ​
3. You will start paying according to your selected instalment plan. For details, please refer to your monthly bank statement or Alipay account information.  

Offline payment:  

1. Log in as a member in the IKEA app and show your membership number.  
2. Instalment payment is applicable, if your order amount reaches at least 100 yuan. Then click "My"-"Instalment payments" to show your instalment payment number.  
3. Once the instalment number is scanned, select the instalment platform and amount, and complete payment.  
4. You will start paying according to your selected instalment plan. For details, please refer to your monthly bank statement or Alipay account information.  

Notes:  

1. The instalment payment service is applicable to all IKEA product purchases. It is provided by credit card issuers, Ant Group (Huabei) and JD Group (JD Baitiao) for residents in mainland China who meet the terms and conditions. Use of the instalment payment service by IKEA members is subject to review by the credit card issuer, Ant Group or JD Group. In the event of overdue instalment payments, your bank, Ant Group or JD Group will charge a delinquency fee. Please refer to the official website of your credit card issuer, Alipay or JD for relevant terms, fees and charges. 
2. The bank credit card instalment is available in IKEA offline channels, IKEA app, www.IKEA.com, IKEA China Remote Customer Meeting point: 4008002345/online customer service; Huabei is applicable in IKEA offline channels, IKEA app, www.IKEA.com, IKEA Mini-Program, IKEA China Remote Customer Meeting point: 4008002345/online customer service; JD Baitiao is applicable in IKEA app.
3. Different banks, Ant Group (Huabei), and JD Group (JD Baitiao) have different minimum instalment amounts. Since most partner have set the minimum at 100 yuan, IKEA follows this standard by making 100 yuan the minimum to pay in instalments while shopping.
4. The monthly payment shown on the IKEA app represents an estimated amount. Your monthly payment amount will be calculated by your instalment provider and is the quote displayed on your monthly invoice.
5. The above instalment payment service is only applicable to retail customers. 
6. Customers making purchases with a special instalment credit card are not eligible for this instalment payment service. 

What is the IKEA Member interest-free quota?   

The IKEA Member interest-free benefit means that IKEA family members can apply for instalment payments through banks and financial institutions who cooperate with IKEA. IKEA subsidizes the interest for members, providing them with an interest-free benefits.

Starting from September 1, 2025, the ways to obtain interest-free benefits will be as follows:

• First-time new registrations as an IKEA family member can receive a time-limited interest-free instalment benefit.
• Family member who has provided birthday information can enjoy a time-limited interest-free instalment benefit in birthday month.
• Members can exchange personal account points for time-limited interest-free instalment benefits in the IKEA Membership Points Mall.
• Members will receive time-limited interest-free instalment benefits after paying for IKEA Interior Design service fee and kitchen design measurement fee.
• IKEA periodically offers limited-time interest subsidy activities to members.

For specific usage rules and validity periods of the Membership Interest-Free Benefits, please check the "My IKEA- Instalment Payments" page or refer to the interest subsidy activity communications. The interest-free benefits obtained before September 1, 2025, and within validity period, can be used normally.
